Alright everyone, So, I'm thinking about adapting my mafia game into a clueish kind of roleplaying game. So for those of you interested, expect that event to show up this weekish, we got my computer back early and need to reinstall windows 7 etc.

I think it would be fun to a RPG rp XD. If you know what I mean? Like have characters be thrown in an RPG world and are a quest to find something. Just a generic RPG plot. I guess it could be like a Dungeon and Dragon type RPG expect I know nothing about that game. XD

There's a board game for that! Hon, we could do research via TableTop!

We can definitely do a generic RPG like that Yami. I always was hoping to have a primary mafia portion of this site, and a smaller RP/RPG section as well.

Well we can do a cops and robbers type RPG that involves the mafia. XD Not sure how to play that out as a game.

You've got plenty of good ideas yami, are you interested in planning those out into full games and hosting em?

I could probably host them if I can figure out how to set it up. For a cops and robbers game. The robbers would be mafia goons who stole something and the cops have to track them down and stop them. So people would be on either side and will try to out do each other. The cops win if they get all the robbers caught and the robbers win if at least one of them escape. As a host I would leave hints to the cops and give tools to help the robbers. Not sure if that would work. Just a basic idea that can probably be adjusted.

As for a generic RPG type game. I would help the players along with their quest by giving them awards for their achievements. Also place traps that they have to overcome by working together. That would be really easy to host.

Sounds like you just need to refine a few details and then set up a test game!

Indeed. Perhaps we should set up a sin up list for hosting the monthly event games? I'll be doing the first one. ^^

yes, I think these things should be monthly. I would defiantly do a test game for cops and robbers.

I have another idea for a future role playing game. What if it were a game set on a sinking boat? There would be a time limit to find certain items, or else the mafia would end up sinking the boat and winning the game.

It's a rough idea at the moment, but I think the game play elements of a "Titanic" game could be interesting.

would Survivor be played some what like the show and how natasha had her hell kitchen minis the food challenges.. using certain puzzle/other games as the challenges? if so this sounds interesting and i have seen the show alot to know how it goes

I think that'd be pretty cool! I imagine it would!

i think at some point I'd like to host that.    should we do like survivor and when we have the top 3 we can have the jury (the people voted off near the end)  vote who they want to win?  hehe >: D

Ah, I forgot about the Mad Bomber role. Maybe one of my future non-roleplay games will feature a Mad Bomber and a tropical cruise setting. (I like setting my mafia games on tropical cruises gone awry. I'm not sure why...)

sounds like a plot for finale destination, it is one of the things they didn't to yet a ship going awry
