I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't hate visiting the dentist. I never understood the "dentists are scary" concept either. :/ I went to a really good dentist when I was young, so that's probably part of the reason.

For me, the dentist is the fear of the unknown. I'm lucky that in 25 years I've never needed braces or a filling or tooth out or anything. So it's more like a fear because I have no previous experience of the bad stuff..! =p

They're not scary. More of I get annoyed of being lectured every time because "You're not brushing or flossing properly. Let me try to sell you a product." Type attitude.

Oh, we don't get that here. Dental care is mostly funded by the health service unless you go private, so they can't really try sell us stuff.

Seriously, i never needed a flipping crowning until my parents switched me to the current one I have. Also his office is incompetency.

My dentist is actually really nice, except he always tries to talk to me when my mouth is wide open..?!

Braces weren't that bad, though getting them tightened was a pain in the mouth. Okay, I'll be honest and say I feared getting fillings a little bit, but other than that, I never had that childhood fear of dentists.

I usually got complimented for my brushing. I thought it was because I went to a child dentist, but it happened at the adult dentist I've switched to. They complimented me on my brushing, and apparently went and complimented my father on my brushing too. (He drove me to the dentist.) ...Which is actually kind of strange, in retrospect... :/

I guess it depends on the quality of the dentist. I was lucky enough to have a really good dentist growing up.

I had a good dentist growing up too. Again I never had any "problems" until my current one.

I just realized, with ayus new nickname we're gonna sound like a bunch of Canadians.

No, not a bad neighborhood. Upscale part of town where the bus transit is located. But majority of businesses are closed for the night.

I have a problem, and this is one i never thought i would have but i dont think i have enough school work. this month's load seems really light compared to the others, and i have character animation next month(i think) i'm not totally sure how i feel about this... I mean i'm nearly 2 weeks ahead now.. guess that means time to game!! WOOT! laters, my problem is solved!

Wow Ed, you sure you don't need to talk about that some more? I mean, it seemed like a huge problem. Take some time to think about it, don't make any hasty decisions, lets talk this out, let's consider the facts, lets ponder the possibilities, lets focus on the big picture, lets take a moment to reflect, lets weigh our choices, lets analyze the angles, lets look down the other fork in the road, lets stop with the god chibi metaphors.

Not even read the rest of the thread yet, but 'aye' is ALWAYS pronounced 'ah-y' in Scotland, is used instead of 'yes' like 70% of the time. =p
