Papouli and Ce. Doesn't he look so proud?
Theia and Ce again. and yes i got permission to post the pics.
we have a fondness for Greek heritage, and so we've decided to go with greek familial names for our side of the family.

and no thunder the drugs had nothing to do with that, it's a strange one but it does the same sort of thing to me.

Heh, most drugs share common effects.
Nice pics! Glad mom and baby are home, hospitals are no fun.

Re: General Chat
Hospitals suck!!! You cannot sleep in them, they check you every half an hour and your baby too, waking you up pretty much every 20 minutes, and then tell you you need to go to sleep! Psychos! xD

Re: General Chat
Radical Edward, that first picture is absolutely adorable! The baby is really cute~
On the topic of hospitals: I was actually born at home, about a week or so after my due date.
My younger sister was born at the hospital. However, she was born at a weird time of the day; the rest of the hospital was closed, so they had to take her to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. (A Priest actually came up to my Dad and asked if he wanted to pray... Dad had to explain that my sister was healthy!) But both my mom and sister ended up getting ill afterwards; my sister coughed so hard that she'd turn blue... :/ Mom got angry and went back to the hospital to get care for my sister.
So yeah, I don't think my mom had a very good impression of giving birth at hospitals.
I don't remember any of the details of the story myself. I'd just turned 4, and all I remembered about that day was how odd it was that my Uncle had come to babysit me so early in the morning, and how much fun it was playing at the McDonalds indoor playground! (Judging by my expression on the video where I first met my sister, I probably thought my parents were lying to me about being pregnant. )

Re: General Chat
Good luck, Ed!
Wow, I didn't realise people really were born outside of hospitals. Dumb question, but do you have to pay for like maternity care in America?
I ran out of my prescription painkillers yesterday, forgot to order them today and have to go the wholw weekend without them. Ugh.

Re: General Chat
Well to a certain extent, Natasha. For example, in England you get free doctors appointments, hospital visits etc but not free prescriptions of medication. It's like $12 an item (even if it's just like aspirin). In Scotland everything is free.
I do appreciate we have a free health care system for everyone, but at the same time it's expensive for our country to run.

well it may be expensive for the government, yes, but consider the fact that your country is probably healthier and happier than ALOT of other countries that have chibi healthcare, like america.

Yep. It's expensive for you guys to run, but you pay more in taxes, you have healthier people in general, the quality of food is higher...
I'd rather pay more for everyone around me to somewhat healthy than live around the people I don't now who are obese and miserable.
