Well, from the way I understand about how the Fool is played you win regardless if you're lynched as well as whichever side wins. So it's Townie + Fool, Mafia + Fool, if you're Fool.

But, I'm willing to take the chance since if you are Fool and not Mafia, that narrows my suspects down even further. So, for me at least it's a win-win.

Also in every game that I played, IF the fool was lynched we auto lost. I've played over a hundred games on there.

Nope it means IF town wins if they don't get lynched they still win with docked points. They can also side with mafiato get points but in the case of being lynched they are the sole winner.
