Yeah, that was partially my fault. I keep forgetting by default the forum adds points for posting and making a new subject.

well actually the issue was that we added a whole new section to the forum, and each time we add a new section, it defaults to an added point value system per post and per thread for that section unless we change it all to 0 first.
