Well I dont know who to vote for.

I don't know who to vote for either. I could understand why the mafia would target Mercury, though at the same time if Mercury was automatically going to be lynched off it's a strange choice for the mafia.

Let's see. With 4 players left, if we don't lynch today, and the Doctor doesn't protect whoever the mafia targets, we'll have 2 non-mafia (1 potentially being the traitor) and 1 mafia.

Then again, if we lynch the wrong person today, we'll end up in a similar situation.

i don't think there is a doctor, looking back at the thread that talks about the 5 style maifa there is NO doctor listed....

Whoops. That's true- I was looking at the first post of this thread when I made my post rather than the news thread. I remember being confused that Doctor was listed but rolling with it.

So we don't have a doctor.
-> If we don't lynch anyone today, there will be 4 players; tomorrow there will be 3 players, with 1-2 being evil (2, assuming the mafia member doesn't kill the traitor).
->If we lynch today, we have a 1/4th shot of killing the mafia member and winning; a 1/4th shot of killing the possessed; and a 1/2 shot of killing the townie or hunter. Assuming we do not kill mafia, after the second night we'll only have 2 players. The only way to win in this situation is if the second player is the hunter.

So we have a 1/4th chance of winning automatically if we lynch the mafia; otherwise our chances are much lower. Since the cop is dead, we'd have to take a complete shot in the dark when lynching. This makes me tempted to go with a no lynch, but I want to hear if others disagree with my logic before I formally vote.

 

I do agree with what you're saying. I mean either way we are taking a risk. So why not?

I guess my opinion doesn't really matter because it's already majority, but a no lynch is a horrible idea because a traitor wins if mafia wins. which basically means that townies have already lost with a no lynch. 

In fact I think Zodia is guilty.

I don't really understand Natasha's logic. The traitor wins with mafia, that's true, but I'm not sure how it relates to townies loosing with a no lynch. I'm going to vote No Lynch.

No, there's only 1 mafia and 1 traitor. There's still a chance the remaining townie could counterclaim mafia and trick the traitor into voting to kill off their teammate, though that's the only way the village could win at this point. That being said, I'm the mafia member.

Although, now that I think about it, it would be hard for the Villager to win if both the mafia and traitor agreed to end the day without lynching, so: no lynch.
