Just wanted everyone to know, had computer issues last night, and im at work now, so signups for the next mafia game will begin tonight when I get home.

it's not just the heat, it's the humidity that comes with it..

85 with no humidity would be better... i want my mid 70's to low 80's back but soon fall will come and it will be nice.... till it;s time to freeze my butt off... that's MN weather for you. XD

Same Natasha! We're lucky to live in Western Washington unlike the Eastern Washingtonians. They get in the 100s sometimes. And freezing during the winter.

BLARGH! That's just dreadful! xD 

I also appreciate the lack of snakes and poisonous creatures in our area. I'd rather deal with slugs outside any day. xD

what's wrong with pets'mart? they have adoption events for shelter/rescue animals, that's why the web cam kitties go there when the reach two months after there spay/nuters

I prefer not to go to any kind of pet store regardless of what kind of animals they give away or sell. 

I'm actually allergic to cats.

i never heard such a thing, i been to two different petsmarts before and the cages are clean.. plus they don't sell dogs, so no puppy mills, and the cats that are in the in house cages are from rescue places.

next PETA is a bunch of BS, they kill alot of adoptable animals, i seen a few articles on it. not sure where to re find them

I don't believe in PETA either. What I am saying however, is that I don't advocate the sell of any animal, the adoption of any animal, etc. I personally prefer to avoid those things, do you get what I am saying? 

I prefer to avoid any form of animal cruelty, and don't support it in any form. I also do not like PETA which is why I provided two articles about the same thing versus just the one.

Anyways, this is probably going to get heated, so rather than argue over it, let's drop it. Sound good? =)

okay but i must ask what you mean by not advocating adoption of animals...??? i'm a bit confused.. since that's why they get new house. my brain got fried from DA heat

I worked at Petsmart in my senior year of high school and I handled the pets. I cleaned the cages, fed them, gave them water, cleaned the water tanks, ect. If animals got sick I gave them meds. Everyone was pretty much healthy and we made sure we sold animals to good homes.

OPPS miss the dropping part. But I just thought I mentioned this.

Well, the majority of the people I know who adopt animals (and this is strictly from my own family and even friends) do not treat their animals well. I know there will always be an exception to the rule, but based off what I have seen of the treatment of animals growing up, I prefer to avoid it. It is something I just do not like, so I prefer not to adopt animals myself or go near pet stores.

Yami- It has nothing to do with the people who actually work for petsmart, it's more the behind the scenes stuff from the company itself and not the actual stores. I just avoid them and don't like pet stores. Is that really so wrong? xD
