Pokemon Mafia [Sign-Ups] - (CLOSED)

I would like to take to the time to remind players that the theme is used to give the game a little flavor. If you end up being a character from Team Rocket or associated with Team Rocket, that does not necessarily mean you are mafia. Also, to any new players if you haven't read the General Game Rules please make sure you do as well as the Forum Rules and CoC.

Sign-ups will end August 12th 12:00AM PDT (00:00 PDT).
Game will begin August 12th 12:00PM PDT (12:00 PDT).

All characters will be assigned to you at random. As well as roles (mafia, cop, (weak) doctor, and townies). Post here if you want to play.

We figure, it's best to have our first game soon! Considering nearly everyone we've invited has signed up. It will be a small game as we wait to accumulate more members! =)

Ah, your posted reminded me that I won't be able to play a lot tomorrow. I'm meeting with friends at about noon Pacific time tomorrow. However, I'll try to post as much as I can tomorrow!

Edited to add: Since this is the first game, we're hoping to work out kinks etc, and just see how we play as a group without "overbearing" expectations.

Chiming in. I agree with the expidited start date. We have launched this forum with a high level of excitement and activity, it's only right that we keep up our momentum with our first game!

I agree that check-ins should start at midnight. I like the idea of separating check-in time from Night 1; it's annoying when Night 1 ends before everyone's checked in, and I don't like situations where a player's been killed before they've even posted in the main thread.

Edit: Though it might be a problem if people are checking in before the GM has had a chance to send out roles. Hmm....

Okay so here is what I'm thinking. I'll send out your character and roles now, make the thread, and we'll have a Check-In Phase. Night 1 will begin once EVERYONE has checked in.

Night 1 might be delayed since I'm heading out to dinner with my folks in a couple of hours.

I don't mind; I think we should wait for more than half of the signed-up players to post approval on here before you send out character roles, though, AgentAyu.
