Manga you're currently Reading

I've been rereading my manga collection the last couple of weeks. Right now I'm on the last Higurashi no naku koro ni volume that I own (the first part of the Eye-Opening Arc, or the 11th volume in total). I actually picked up the first book to see if I wanted to donate the series or not; then I ended up reading the rest. I realized why I loved the series again, and found myself loving arcs that I'd previously found rather dull. I think I'll check the other volumes out from the library and finish up the series.

I've also started rereading the Sailor Moon manga with a focus on close-reading/(over)-analysis. So far, I've been having a blast- I enjoy the first three chapters way more than I used to. For example: I never noticed that there was a panel with over 10 penguins in the 2nd chapter until I started hunting for details like that. Why are there penguins? I don't know. It still makes me laugh every time I see it. XD

Cuteness reasons?

Which magical girl manga have you read so far?

A lot of them

My favorites are Sailor Moon, The Different Story, PMMM, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Full Moon o chibi. (honorary mentions to Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Shugo Chara)

I've never read Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, but I heard Saint Tail has similar plot points, and I'm pretty fond of Saint Tail.

I'd also recommend Sugar Sugar Rune. I haven't finished that series yet, but it's pretty cute and interesting so far.
