Kingdom Hearts

Yeah so anyone else on this board a KH fan?? i personally can say safely that my life was changed by this game. It was the first game I bought myself, (I got a ps2 just to play this game) I can say that KH is the reason I am in school for Game Art. Kingdom Hearts started a passion for gaming that I never lost and love. It lead me to great games like Final Fantasy and other great titles.

So the latest news is the drop of KH1.5 and the announcement that KH3 is in development for the PS4.(a reason to get the system, if i wasn't already) It feels like finally after so long Square is breathing life back into the series. I love that we got final mix but i dont like that it was really just the game they gave us in the states the first time around with a few things changed. I read online that the Japanese first release wasn't anything like what we got so they sort of threw a fit i guess and Square gave them Final Mix then we got mad and well you know the rest. I hope that we get KH2 final mix and i hope we get it for the PS3, (Sony is my system) or I'll take the PS4 but before the release of KH3, that would be fun and to have Birth By Sleep as a console game would be totally cool too. i have all the KH titles, cause I'm a goober (Ed is working on her Final Fantasy Collection she only has a couple left to get!!)
I dont like KH:COM (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories) you have to have cards to attack or use magic and well that can get annoying. It's easier on the console than the GBA but still just annoying.

I have to beat the portable titles. I just never feel like sitting down and playing on a little screen but I do when my sister is playing her games, since she can't stand the little screens. Yeah, this game, this series is a big part of my life. I've been a fan since the first game dropped over 10 years ago, and i dont regret a moment of the time i've spent(300+ hours a game) playing these.

I used to be, but due to how long it's taking them for the next installment and remakes. I'm not as big of a fan anymore. The last KH game I bought was BBS and I'm still debating on buying KH 3D.

Never really played em, been a PC gamer my entire life.

i hear tell that you can get emulators for your computer and play that way but I dunno. I dont use emulators so I dunno really.

I understand that it's been along time between main titles, but really I want them to take all the time they need to give me and other fans the best game they can. the longer to make the game usually the better it is. BBS is one of my fave titles and 3D has been great fun. I really dont care for part of the main storyline, but hey, they're always doing stuff like that. But I tell ya any other KH title is better than COM.

Personally I don't think it's really improved much. Graphic wise, yes, but other than that game play it hasn't. Especially the games that were for the Nintendo handheld systems. I didn't touch COM until it was available for the PS2.

358/2 was terrible for gameplay wise. If it was for the PSP, I might have liked it more, but controls were terrible and the build up was more complicated than it should have been.

even though i never played KH, i always admired the idea they had of taking characters from all these different universes and combining them. i think that's awesome. ill play it one of these days...

I hope so...we have three of the ps 2 games. xD

so cool you have the ps2 games! I love KH2 it has to be one of my faves.

Yeah well, as avid pc gamers we only have 2 other forms of gaming and that's nintendo 64 and ps2. =) we used to have a nintendo ds, but we sold it. Never used it, so.

I had the DS and traded it for the 3DS. While i dont use the 3d system cause it's hard on my eyes it's nice to have it. I'm a console gamer and have been for a while, I used to play WOW a lot but I failed college the first time and now tend to stay away from games like that.

A lot of people have that story about World of Warcraft. I was so ashamed of myself back in high school. I had gotten ahead to my junior year as a sophmore, and I spent all my time flirting with this nerd mage I had met and failed my math class. Well, I didn't fail it, I just didn't 100% complete it. Oh the shame!

Wow has taken many hours from studies around the world. So has KH, games always do, it's part of their fun.
