The Book Club

This is a place where those who are fans of reading novels can gather their favorite books, or perhaps throw out some book suggestions for everyone to agree to read one at a time. The idea is to pick a book which we can take the time to read a chapter or a couple of chapters at a time. Preferably these would be books which are carried on our own personal shelves, can be found online, at the local bookstore, or even the public library.

Once we have a copy of the book by a deadline which is issued, we would read the books, meeting up to discuss a group of chapters, and what we thought of it, where we see the story going, what we thought of character development, and if some of us write, perhaps what kind of morals or characteristics from the author we can borrow for our own writing.

Anyways, The Book Club will be formally starting in October. So, for those of you interested in reading a book a month and kind of just writing our thoughts in weekly threads, talking about the book, discussing it, etc, feel free to sign up with your name and some book ideas below.
