Alright, sorry for my impatience XD I had trouble accessing Forumotion earlier this evening, too.

With Lt. Hawkeye's last words there was no doubt on who had attacked her last night and was Edward Elric's co-conspirator. The town rallied together to go after the other mafia member. Winry Rockbell - Mafia was lynched by the town due to her involvement in the deaths of Colonel Roy Mustang and Lt. Riza Hawkeye.



A close childhood friend of Edward and Alphonse Elric since their young life in Resembool, she is almost like a sister to the two and essentially their only family. An amateur surgeon and mechanical repair specialist/enthusiast, Winry acts as Edward's rear line support as his personal automail engineer and mechanic, making sure his prosthetic right arm and left leg are always in good working order.

Good game everyone! ^^ Alright, there's a ton I wanted to say.

First of all, I had *no clue* Natasha was the cop. I was convinced Thunderdome was the cop, and that if I kept the cop alive, I'd have a better chance of winning.

Why? The "last words" system gives the villagers a *ton* of power. It practically breaks the game in the village's favor. The Cop can pretty much say "THE ONE WITH ASTROLOGY IN HER NAME IS MAFIA," and everyone will believe the Cop, because they're confirmed as Cop by the GM. Their last words are undeniable truth.

(Perhaps the system wouldn't be broken if the cop was vaguer with their hints, but being vague with hints is really hard. Saying "the first mafia's wife" is no different then saying "ZodiacRain" if there's a single player familiar with the show.)

But if the cop's still alive, the cop can say "I inspected ZodiacRain, she's mafia." Then I can respond, "You claimed cop and yet the mafia didn't kill you, that's suspicious." And because the GM isn't backing up either of our statements, it gives me a bit more power and an improved chance of winning.

Needless to say, when I found out I'd killed the real cop I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why?! "

But we play with wills, zodia. If you don't want to have wills, you can set it up that way. It doesn't break the game. You can always set up a game with no last words.

I don't think mafia members are supposed to be upset at killing the cop, like I was. I'd even written out this long post where I counterclaimed cop. XD

@Natasha: I didn't know you could set up a game without last words. Also, I realized my last post sounded a bit too aggressive when I used your exact example ("last mafia's wife.") It's a trend I've noticed in general on the forums. However, I think I'll keep the "will" rule for the next game I'm hosting, considering the special character I'm using.

That makes a lot of sense, actually. No last wills makes the game a lot harder for the Town/majority of players to win. It's unfair for me to say that it breaks the game in favor of the Town, though.

Nice plan Zodia. I remember doing the same thing when I was mafia with Swifty at the other forum, we were hoping our target was not the cop since I was certain he had investigated me by then, and we were thrilled to have killed a villager xD
